January Updates 2013

Out with the old and in with the new, a brand new year that is! 2012 was one of our best years of the almost six and a half we have had so far. I’d like to take a little time to give you some insight into our 2013 year.

2012 will go down as a year of strength for HPIR largely because our team has formed the strongest bond that we have ever had. Our current members have really laid a solid foundation for our future as a group and we will continue to build onto that foundation well into 2013 and beyond.

Our plan for the New Year is to continue searching for answers of the paranormal world as well as to uncover even more history of our area.  We don’t know exactly which roads we will take this year, but as always we hope to learn something from each investigation we conduct and in the process help others learn as well.

Investigation plans for 2013 have not been cemented yet, but there are several new investigations we hope to book this year and we may possibly return to former investigation sites as well. We also have several investigation possibilities for the next month or two so if those work out, we will no doubt be updating our information to include anything new.

Other plans this year include the expansion of our ghost tours. We have been considering an expansion for some time now and while the process is a little slow, we hope to have some new stuff ready to go by this summer. We of course will continue our Guyandotte tours, but there will be some notable changes in our schedule this season and our full 2013 Guyandotte schedule should be announced around March.

Personally 2013 means another new year of haunted travels! I always look forward to exploring new places and I’m sure to come across some amazingly wonderful haunted places during my travels. I’m already working on ideas for locations, and I can’t wait to get started. My earliest trip should be around February or March so keep and eye on the blog this spring for more haunted travels.

2013 is looking promising and we hope to have lots of new stuff to share with you all this year. Happy Hauntings!
